Where are we?

So, where are we now? We are right in the thick of it. Barry is editing like a madman, assembling music, etc. I am working to write the openers and helping Barry in any way I can. Now, to say this time around is the same as the last would be untrue. To say the level of pressure is the same would be false. To say the stress level in the Dodd household is the same as last year would be a lie.

The game has changed for us and the expectations are not only higher, they exist. Last year, we were in a very isolated world when we were making Ragged Isle and putting the show out. It was a race to get each episode out for our Wednesday deadline. Once we got a chance to breathe we were overwhelmed and excited by the response, especially by Indie Intertube, who put us on the map. Thank you.

Since then, we have gained a lot of fans and awards that were not planned on. Got attention from people we never dreamed would know we exist. We were asked to join a ground breaking network that is across the country and has such talented people associated with it that we consider ourselves blessed to be a part of the family. We are very lucky people.

I hope the fans like the next two seasons. With the addition of a new camera and sound gear as well as all of David C. Miller's toys we have a great sounding and gorgeous looking show on our hands. We also decided to up the stakes in other areas adding a ton of locations and topping out at 40 actors. These seasons are action packed and fast moving. There is a lot of ground to cover.

With all of that said, we are so happy to be a part of the web series community as it is about the coolest thing we have ever been a part of. The talent, creativity, kindness, support, generosity, and camaraderie is really something special. Thank you all.
