I Have Seen the Future

Last night, a group of "Ragged Isle" actors and crew gathered at Barry and Karen Dodd's house to watch the SFN broadcast of the Third Annual Indie Soap Awards ceremony, an event that took place last month in New York City (and is described in more detail here). Even knowing the outcome (spoiler alert: We won!), it was fun and exciting to watch.



Afterward, Barry, drunk on victory and hard lemonade, opened up his (normally super-secret) vault and shared with us select raw footage from the first five episodes of season two. On my Facebook page, I wrote my five-word reaction to what I saw: Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow.

Don't get me wrong: I love season one. But from the footage Barry showed us last night, in terms of acting (myself excluded) and cinematography and story, it looks like season two will leave the first season in the dust. Wow. I can't wait to see the finished product. I can't wait to share the finished product with the world.
